Foundation for Rabbit-Free Australia invests in three key areas:
- Research: Stimulating new research into rabbit control, especially bio-controls, and building the capacity of researchers and research institutions.
- Awareness & Education: Raising awareness of the harm rabbits cause, the need for their control and the imperative of ongoing research into effective control mechanisms, while also sharing the results of that research with rabbit managers.
- Best-practice Rabbit Control: Encouraging the application of science-based ‘best practice’ rabbit control, with landscape-wide benefits.

2025 Targets: Our targets to support our 2025 operations are:
- Research: $40,000 for un-funded priority projects.
- Education & Awareness: $15,000 to produce the next ‘Easter Bilby’s Friends’ children’s book.
- Best-practice Rabbit Management: $10,000 to support the National Feral Rabbit Management Coordination project.
